Recently President Jokowi targeted at least one of Bonded Logistics Center (PLB) for each industrial area in Indonesia. Director General of Customs Heru Pamungkas said although President has inaugurated 11 PLBs in April, but still President aimed that every island, province and industrial areas at least has one bonded logistics center.
Therefore, the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, Ministry of Finance together with Indonesian Logistics Association (ALI) focused on socializing the policy of bonded logistics center that can be very profitable for employers and operators. As one of the biggest liquid terminal provider, Linc Terminal has already implemented this policy by first obtaining a certificate PLB for liquid bulk storage types located in Ciwandan, West Java.
So actually what is bonded logistics center? Bonded logistics center is a logistics multifunction warehouses to stockpile imported goods or locally with the ease of tax facilities such as free of Value Added Tax (VAT) and sales tax on luxury goods (PPnBM), as well as more flexibility in operations

In addition, Director General of Customs Heru Pamungkas hoped, continuous socialization which’s held by his department can enhance understanding of bonded logistics center opportunities for the industry and other relevant agencies.
